Our Story

Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University.

Initially, the search engine was called "Backrub," but it was later renamed to Google, a playful name inspired by the mathematical term "googol."

Our Mission

Our mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.

We achieve this through our search engine, advertising platforms, and various other products and services.

Our Values

At Google, we value innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity.

We strive to create a culture that is welcoming and inclusive to all employees, and we believe in giving back to the communities we serve.
