Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring two forms of identification: your password and a one-time code sent to your trusted device.

How to Enable 2FA

  1. Sign into your Outlook Web Access account.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings > Security in the top navigation.
  3. Select Enable Two-Step Verification.
  4. Choose your preferred verification method (SMS, Authenticator App, or Security Key).
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your device.
  6. Save your recovery codes in a secure location.
Pro Tip: We recommend using an authenticator app for the most secure experience.
