Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Minecraft services, platforms, game, content, and related features provided by Mojang AB. By installing, accessing, or using Minecraft, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Acceptable Use

Allowed Activities

• Creating and sharing builds with the community
• Participating in multiplayer servers
• Using mods and custom content (per EULA)
• Reporting bugs and security issues

Prohibited Activities

• Cheating or using hacks/mods that provide unfair advantage
• Distributing pirated copies of the game
• Creating or sharing malicious content
• Harassing other players or violating community guidelines

User Content

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create. By uploading to Minecraft platforms, you grant Mojang a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display such content.

Content Moderation

We may remove content that violates these Terms, community guidelines, or intellectual property rights. Users who repeatedly violate policies may lose account privileges.

Attribution

You must credit original authors when sharing their creations. Commercial use requires explicit permission from the content creator and Mojang.

Account Terms

Account Responsibility

• You're responsible for account security
• Must be at least 13 years old
• No unauthorized access to accounts
• Must update account details if changed

Account Termination

• Accounts may be suspended for policy violations
• We may cancel accounts with unused purchases
• Permanent deletion requires 30-day notice
• All data is deleted after account removal

Intellectual Property

Game Assets

All Minecraft block models, textures, and code are proprietary to Mojang. Redistribution is strictly prohibited without written permission.

Third-Party Rights

Users must not upload content that infringes on third-party rights. We operate a DMCA takedown policy for reported copyright violations.

Modders License

Commercial mods must follow EULA guidelines. Non-commercial mods must attribute Mojang. All mods must comply with anti-exploit policies.
