  • Distribute or sublicense the service
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the service
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage quotas
  • Use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Inject malicious code or content through API endpoints

2. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You're responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

3. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, API.Status provides services "as is" with no warranty. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or terminate services without notice for maintenance or operational improvements.

  • Planned maintenance requires 24-hour advance notice
  • Unplanned maintenance will be reflected in the status dashboard
  • Service disruptions are not grounds for refunds unless contractual SLA is violated

4. Data Usage

Your usage data is collected solely for operational purposes and service improvement, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not share this data with third parties without your consent.

5. Liability

Our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Business losses or lost profits
  • Unauthorized use of your account
  • Any third-party services you use with our API

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email and the status dashboard.
