M'Gann's connection to Martian energies intensifies, allowing her to detect hidden signals across the planet. As she deciphers these transmissions, images of ancient Mars - and more disturbingly, of White Martian forces - flash through her mind. She realizes the White Martians are hunting her, but their purpose remains shrouded in mystery.
With her powers growing, M'Gann begins developing new abilities including molecular shapeshifting and emotional empathy. But as these powers manifest, so too does the fear that she's forgetting who she was meant to be - and what Mars expects of her.
