OpenStreetMap data is licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL). This license allows anyone to use our data freely while protecting the rights of all contributors.
The ODbL requires that you must attribute the data to OpenStreetMap and its contributors, and share any modified versions of the database under the same license.
Commercial use is permitted, but you must ensure that the ODbL terms are maintained at all times. For software that processes OSM data, derivative works are exempt from relicensing if they are not changes to the dataset itself.
