Our Approach
Human-centered redesign
We conducted 45+ hours of field research with doctors and nurses, creating task flows that reduced steps in critical pathways by 63% while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Design & Development Process
Discovery Phase
Cognitive walkthroughs of existing workflows revealed 142 critical pain points. We mapped all system roles and created user journey maps for clinical scenarios.
Design Research
Usability tests with 22 medical professionals informed our accessibility improvements. We achieved WCAG 2.1 AA compliance with dynamic text scaling and semantic markup.
Prototyping
We developed an interactive prototype validated by FDA usability experts. The system includes real-time validation for medication dosages and allergy alerts.
