Community Manager
Build and nurtureture our developer and open-source community, fostering collaboration and engagement within the WebAssembly ecosystem.
About the Role
You'll be the bridge between our growing community of WebAssembly developers and the elmioche team. Your responsibility is to grow the community through events, content, and active engagement on social media and forums.
You'll craft community guidelines, create educational content, and organize events that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain active WebAssembly and open-source communities
- Organize educational events, hackathons, and online workshops
- Develop content strategies for community channels (Discord, GitHub, Twitter, etc.)
- Build and maintain community guidelines and moderation policies
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing technical communities (developer or open-source preferred)
- 3+ years of professional community management experience in technical domains
- Proficiency with developer tools and platforms (GitHub, Discord, Twitter/X, etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills in English and experience creating educational content
