This grant supports academic institutions, independent researchers, and industry R&D teams working on foundational AI advancements. Focus areas include but are not limited to:

Eligibility Requirements

Qualified Investigators

  • Lead researcher must hold PhD or equivalent
  • Must be affiliated with an accredited institution

Funding Parameters

  • Funding range: $50K-$500K
  • Duration: 6-24 months
  • Must agree to publish results in open access

Key Deliverables

  • Peer-reviewed papers published in top conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
  • Open source implementation of algorithms/code
  • Quarterly progress reports
