UX Designer

Overview

As a UX Designer at Elenébélòcòcòcíàííàíà, you'll lead the redesign of our open-source platforms with intuitive interfaces that balance innovation and accessibility. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user experiences that enhance productivity and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for open-source platforms
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs meet technical constraints
• Implement accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
• Mentor community designers on open-source UX best practices
• Design documentation and pattern libraries for our design system

Requirements

• BS in Design, HCI, or equivalent portfolio
• 3+ years professional UX design experience for open-source tools
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
• Strong understanding of open-source design ecosystems
• Portfolio demonstrating accessibility and usability expertise
• Experience with collaborative open-source workflows
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
