What is a Quantum Circuit?

A quantum circuit is a sequence of quantum computations using qubits and quantum gates to perform operations. In this tutorial, we'll use a basic circuit with two qubits to demonstrate essential quantum operations.

Build Your Circuit

Initialize Qubits

Start with two qubits in state |0⟩. Apply a Hadamard gate to create superposition on qubit 0.

Add Control Gates

Apply a CNOT gate entangling qubit 0 and qubit 1. Then measure qubit 0 to the classical register.

Observe Results

Counts: |00⟩: 50%

The measurement results show entangled states with equal probability, demonstrating quantum correlations.
