Corn Chowder Recipe

A creamy and delicious corn chowder perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large potato, diced
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: paprika, chives, or other herbs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  2. Add corn kernels, potato, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  3. Use an immersion blender to puree part of the chowder to desired consistency. Alternatively, transfer some of the chowder to a blender and blend, then return it to the pot.
  4. Stir in heavy cream or milk. Season with salt, pepper, and any desired herbs.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with paprika, chives, or other herbs if desired.
