Corn Chowder Recipe
A creamy and delicious corn chowder perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups corn kernels
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large potato, diced
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: paprika, chives, or other herbs for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
- Add corn kernels, potato, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Use an immersion blender to puree part of the chowder to desired consistency. Alternatively, transfer some of the chowder to a blender and blend, then return it to the pot.
- Stir in heavy cream or milk. Season with salt, pepper, and any desired herbs.
- Serve hot, garnished with paprika, chives, or other herbs if desired.
