The Ocean App was designed to help users monitor ocean sustainability efforts and personal environmental impact. As the chief UI designer, I focused on creating an intuitive interface that balances data visualization with user-friendly interactions for both casual users and environmental enthusiasts.
Designed with a deep blue theme to represent ocean depth, the interface combines minimalist visuals with intuitive gesture-driven navigation. Interactive elements like ripple animations and smooth transitions enhance user experience.
The typography features a clean sans-serif primary font for readability, with a bold serif secondary font for emphasis in key sections.
The app includes features like real-time pollution tracking, personalized sustainability goals, and community challenges. Each interface was optimized for both dark and light modes.
Motion prototypes were created to demonstrate micro-interactions like button presses, tab transitions, and feedback animations for in-app challenges completions.
