What makes Ελάδα olive oil unique?
Our oil is cold-pressed within 8 hours of harvest using 19th-century olive mills, preserving natural polyphenols. We use only organic Cretan olives matured on the tree for three full seasons before harvest.
How is Ελάδα certified?
We hold a PGI certification for Crete since 1948 (one of Greece's oldest). Our mill complies with EU organic standards and holds a 5-star score from the International Olive Council for acid levels, sensory analysis, and peroxide tests.
How should I store Ελάδα olive oil?
- Store in cool, dark place (59-72°F or 15-22°C preferred)
- Avoid exposure to air after opening - transfer to smaller container
- Consume within 3 months for optimal freshness
- Do not store in hot environments or direct sunlight
