About the Role
As a Computational Linguist at ārašē, you'll work on the cutting edge of linguistic validation systems. Our platform supports over 150 scripts and historical character sets, requiring deep knowledge of computational linguistics and Unicode implementations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement linguistic validation rules for Unicode domains
- Collaborate with software engineers on character normalization and collision detection systems
- Develop linguistic datasets for historical script recognition
- Write academic-style linguistic documentation for new character sets
- Test domain validation systems for 40+ heritage scripts
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Linguistics or related field
- 3+ years experience in multilingual Unicode applications
- Expertise in Indic, Brahmic, or CJK languages preferred
- Knowledge of endangered language preservation techniques
- Proven ability to design linguistic validation systems
